One word summarizes the first day of spring 2011 ready-made collections at New York Fashion Week: Fresh. Eds, buyers and bloggers are glossed, fully powered-up (in every sense of the word) and be prepared for the runway. The model arrived backstage with the bright-eyed clear-skinned and nary a blister looks (just wait until the Paris ….). Even our house for a week get a new makeover sizzle this season: Farewell Bryant Park, Lincoln Center halo. This tricked out and TechEd out (hey, this world of bloggers, baby). Want to avoid long check-in lines? Just swipe the barcode on the print shows you at one of the airport that inspired self-check-in stand. But be prepared for the chaotic or two. (“Is it working?” Competition “Who are you wearing?” As the query is most heard.)
