Will Kate Middleton become a royal style icon?
To surprise a lot of excitement and very little, it was announced this morning that Prince William and long-term girlfriend, Kate Middleton, will marry next year. Middleton barely concealed from the public eye, at least in the UK where “they will or will not they” speculation has been going on for so long that 28 years had received his nickname “Waity Kaity.”
This is all good for government observers, but the meaning of fashion? Well, not much-yet. Many in Britain saw Middleton as one to watch, at least in terms of style of government.
